Tasks & responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Develop and deliver community programes that foster inclusion and participation.
- Organise and manage events celebrating diversity and promoting awareness.
- Build networks with local organisations and services to strengthen community ties.
- Advocate for individuals’ rights and support them in accessing resources.
- Help and support participants identify and achieve their personal and community-related goals.
- Monitor and evaluate programe outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & experience
Key Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Community Services, Social Work, or a related field (or working towards it).
- Experience in community work or advocacy is highly regarded.
- A current Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- Valid First Aid & CPR certification, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to promoting inclusivity.
