If you have been working in aged care or a disability/community service caring for vulnerable community members, and understand the industry and its requirements, you would be an ideal candidate to join&nbsp;us. <h6>Benefits</h6>Competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work flexible hours&nbsp;Ongoing training and professional development opportunities&nbsp;Supportive and inclusive work environment&nbsp;Employee assistance program and wellness initiatives&nbsp; <h6>Task & Responsibilities</h6><ul><li>Mentoring and guiding people within the Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangement to develop independent living skills</li><li>Administering medication as required and briefed</li><li>Adherence to Participants’ Support Plans</li><li>Providing positive support in areas such as personal care, hygiene, transport, education, cooking and domestic duties, as well as emotional support.</li><li>Managing complex behaviours of concern</li><li>Completing clear, precise and factual handover notes and incident reports to managers and co-workers</li><li>Helping participants engage with their local communities and culture through access to community participation programs and recreational activities.</li><li>Work with diverse people</li><li>Work legally and ethically</li></ul> <h6>Qualification & Experience</h6>Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field.&nbsp;Experience working one-on-one with people with disabilities who may have complex medical or exhibits behaviours of concern.&nbsp;A valid Australian driver's license.&nbsp;Current NDIS Worker Screening.&nbsp;A valid First-Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain one.&nbsp;Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.&nbsp;Flexible availability to work a range of shifts during the week, overnight, and occasional weekends.&nbsp;Current Manual Handling Certificate&nbsp;A reliable vehicle with car insurance.&nbsp;
